For Families
Serving families has always been at the heart of the Y. We are a place where they can find respite from social, economic and educational challenges, and learn how to overcome them. We have a fundamental desire to provide opportunities for every family to build stronger bonds, achieve greater work/life balance and become more engaged with their communities.

For Older Adults
The YMCA offers a variety of wellness opportunities for active older adults—from baby boomers to seniors—including physical fitness, social activities and more. If you want a low-intensity workout due to arthritis or other physical or joint limitations, we have group fitness classes for you.

Group Fitness Classes
Our YMCAs offer a wide variety of group fitness classes for almost every ability and interest. Each month our Association holds more than 300 group fitness classes across YMCA branches throughout Central Ohio. You'll find low-impact and beginner classes, cardio fitness, dance, Pilates, cycle and Yoga and more advanced cycle, boot camp and kick boxing classes.

Water Fitness
The pool is great for exercise because the water offers resistance while reducing the impact of land-based exercises. Water fitness classes are a fun way to exercise, and the low-impact workout builds strength and flexibility for people of all ages. Our Y's water fitness classes use a variety of exercises and equipment and may take place in shallow water, deep water or a combination of the two.
