Y-Tribes

The YMCA Y-Tribes program is designed to give boys and girls from kindergarten through sixth grade a one-on-one opportunity to build communication, companionship, understanding and mutual respect with a parent, grandparent or guardian.

Y-Tribes offers a unique combination of the YMCA's four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility with the Y-Tribe's elements of family values, respect for the earth, and program traditions.

Campouts, Pinewood Derbies, rocket shoots, horseback riding, and overnight excursions are just a few of the many activities you'll experience as a member of Y-Tribes.

Registrations are now being accepted. Y-Tribes is offered through the following YMCA locations. Please call your local YMCA for more information.

We have all learned that the most important thing we do as parents is spend time with our children. Just because they have entered 4th grade doesn't mean that they need us less. The value of one on one time is just as important as your child goes through the t'ween years.

The YMCA Trails Program continues the fun and fellowship from the Y-Tribes Program. Fathers and Mothers, Sons and Daughters can all enjoy the high adventure activities in the Trails Program.

Trails is only available at the North YMCA.
