American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Classes
3/9/10 –3/14/10You will be certified in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration.
A pre-requisite swim test is required, as well as 100% attendance and passing a written and water skills test to become certified.
When: March 9-12 4:30-9pm
March 13 9am-5pm
March 14 12-5:30pm

Endurance Ride
3/20/10 - 9:00am–1:00pmThe People Helping People Endurance Ride will take place at the Pickaway County YMCA on Saturday March 20st. The event will start at 9:00 am.
Ride Set-Up
The Endurance Ride is a ride that is 4 hours long. It can be done individually or in teams of 2, 3 or 4. The ride will be done on the indoor cycling bikes. Teammate trades can be made at any time at the teams’ discretion. The ride will begin at 9:00 am. There will be a variety of instructors, music, and prizes.
We will provide refreshments during and after the ride.
There is limited space available, so register early! You may join as an individual, and we will place you into a team if preferred.
How to sign up:
Registration fee is $25 per rider.
In order to register for the event, pick up a registration flyer from the service desk. Turn in your registration form and payment to the Front Desk by Thursday March 19th. Each participant will receive a ride t-shirt.
We have recently purchased four new cycling bikes that will be available for the ride.
