Hurricane Invitational

Each year, the HURY Swim Team hosts the Hurricane Invitational as our primary source of fundraising.  It includes 500 swimmers from several Central Ohio YMCA Swim Teams.  This year’s Hurricane Invitational will be just as crazy as ever with themed relays and fun props!
We are currently in our planning stages of the event and will need all parents to participate in obtaining event partners, securing donations for raffles and volunteering the day of the meet. 

Event Partners
If your family helps obtain sponsorships for the Hurricane Invitational, you have the opportunity to have some or all of your Ancillary Fees REFUNDED.  Details will be announced mid-August.

Again this year, we will be holding a raffle during the Hurricane Invitational.  ALL proceeds will be donated to LiveSTRONG, a YMCA cancer survivor program.  We are currently looking for donations for this raffle. 
We are looking for families to donate big ticket items (OSU sports tickets, Blue Jackets, etc..) as well as goods or services.  If you have a donation to make, please contact Suzanne Glover at sglover@ymcacolumbus.org.

This is a huge event and every HURY family must volunteer.  Volunteer positions are on a first come, first serve basis.  The first opportunity to secure your desired position will be at the HURY Open House.  After that, sign-ups will be available on Team Unify.
