Sonia's love of movement and her own injuries led her to explore Pilates. She enjoys teaching others how they can balance muscles, improve range of motion, and feel better overall. In her practice, she has worked with numerous clients who have suffered from back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, as well as pre and post-natal clients, and athletes.
Sonia brings more than 10 years of experience with Pilates, dance and kinesiology, which provides a unique and whole-body fitness experience in her classes.
Katie became certified as a group fitness instructor in 2012 as a way to earn some extra income while pursuing an acting career. She began teaching reformer classes at the Newark YMCA and loved it. She then moved to California after co-starring in a film, but found herself missing the Y. She quickly realized that was the career she wanted to pursue.
Along with teaching at the Y, she also works at a chiropractic office as a rehab technician, performing therapy exercises with patients. Her favorite way to exercise is on the reformers machine. She lives with her boyfriend in Gahanna and has two wonderful dogs.
