Office Support

The Hilliard YMCA is looking for an organized and detail oriented person to support our branch staff.  If you want to come to work every day where you know you are making a difference in the community - this is the role for you!  Awesome, lively work environment and free YMCA membership!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following, other duties may be assigned:
Thinks, communicates and behaves as a cause-drive leader and role model for other staff and members when it comes to desired staff behaviors; promotes youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility in all job-related functions.
Promotes and delivers quality service to members and staff as part of the YMCA’s Member Involvement Model in all job-related functions.
Provides data base and word processing support by entering information, producing reports, developing flyers, agendas for meetings, materials for presentations, and minutes from meetings.
Assists Executive Branch Staff by making telephone calls, sending electronic and written correspondence as directed.
Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.  Performs daily mail distribution.
Offers support in annual campaign and any capital campaigns at the Y location.
Serves as consulting board secretary.
Process membership change forms and bank draft input.
Maintains purchase orders.
Creates paystub check off list.
Assists with branch signage.
Orders, receives, and maintains office supplies.
Creates, prints and mails membership renewal letters.
Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, copying, and collating.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel or similar spreadsheet programs desirable.
